Licence Terms
In short
Use it in your own business, change it however you like, do not sell it on or publish it. If you want to install it in clients' accounts, the Agency Licence covers up to 25 client businesses.
1. What you are buying
You are buying a licence to use the files, not ownership of them. Kettleford keeps the copyright in the blueprints, the documentation and the spreadsheets.
The licence begins when your payment completes and does not expire. It ends only if you take a refund, or if you breach these terms.
2. Standard licence
Unless you bought the Agency Licence, this is the licence you have. It comes with every pack, mini pack, single blueprint and bundle.
- Use the blueprints inside one business, across as many Make.com accounts as that business owns.
- Change anything. Rewire the modules, rewrite the filters, split a scenario into three. It is your copy.
- Use the output commercially. Anything the scenarios produce for your business is yours, with no attribution required and nothing owed to us.
- Show the documentation to your own staff and contractors, so long as they are working on your business.
- Beyond your own staff and contractors as above, you may not sell, sublicense, give away, publish or share the blueprint files, the documentation or the spreadsheet templates.
- You may not deploy them into a Make.com account owned by another business. That is what the Agency Licence is for.
- You may not present the work as your own product, rebranded or otherwise.
3. Five client licence
This is the licence attached to The Vault, Five Clients. It is the Agency Licence below with one number changed, and it exists because most people who deploy these for somebody else do it two or three times, not twenty-five.
- Scope. You may deploy and adapt any blueprint inside the Make.com accounts of your clients, for up to 5 client businesses. A client business counts once, no matter how many of its Make.com accounts, brands or subsidiaries you install into.
- Charging. You may charge your clients whatever you like for the work. That fee is yours in full.
- What a client receives. A working scenario inside their own account. They do not receive the blueprint files, the documentation or the workbook, and you may not give them any of those.
- If the relationship ends. Your client keeps the working scenario. They gain no right to the files or the documentation.
- It is not a resale licence. You may not sell the files, bundle them into a product of your own, rebrand the pack, or publish any of it.
- Going past five. Buy the Agency Licence, which covers 25. Licences do not stack.
4. Agency Licence
This section is the full text of the Agency Licence. It is published here, and reproduced on the Agency Licence product page above the buy button, because a licence you cannot read before buying is the most common reason a product like this ends up in a dispute.
The Agency Licence covers everything Kettleford sells.
- Scope. You may deploy and adapt any Kettleford blueprint inside the Make.com accounts of your clients, for up to 25 client businesses. A client business counts once, no matter how many of its Make.com accounts, brands or subsidiaries you install into.
- Charging. You may charge your clients whatever you like for the work of installing, adapting, running or supporting the scenarios. That fee is yours in full.
- What a client receives. A client receives a working scenario inside their own account. They do not receive the blueprint files, the documentation, the workbook or the spreadsheet templates, and you may not give them any of those.
- If the relationship ends. Your client keeps the working scenario in their account. It is running their business and removing it would not be reasonable. They gain no right to the files, the documentation, or to pass either to anyone else. The client handover template included with this licence sets this out in language you can give to a client directly.
- What this licence does not grant. It is not a resale licence. You may not sell the blueprint files or the documentation as a product, bundle them into a product of your own, rebrand the pack, or publish any of it. Several sellers in this market do grant resale rights. This licence deliberately does not.
- Duration. The licence does not expire. The twelve month window attached to The Vault governs only which new packs are added to your download, and has no effect on your right to keep deploying what you already hold.
- Exceeding 25 clients. Email hello@kettleford.com and we will agree something sensible. We would rather do that than have you buy a second copy or quietly go over the limit.
5. If the licence is breached
If you publish or resell the files, the licence ends and you must stop using them and delete your copies. We would contact you first and ask you to take it down, because in most cases this happens by accident rather than design.
Ending the licence does not entitle you to a refund and does not limit any other remedy available to us.
